Suhora Technologies partners with Azista Industries to onboard AFR satellite data, enhancing access to indigenized satellite data for users.

New Delhi, November 2025: In an effort to strengthen synergies withing Indian space ecosystem, Suhora Technologies, a leading Indian satellite data analytics company, today announced a partnership with Azista Industries, an Indian private satellite manufacturer, to integrate Azista's commercially operational satellite, ABA First Runner (AFR) onto SPADE, its multi-sensor satellite data aggregation and analysis platform. Additionally, Suhora also unveiled major enhancements to its SPADE platform as it marks its first anniversary .

The AFR satellite from Azista is a multispectral satellite with 4.6 m ground sampling, featuring Panchromatic and six multispectral bands, enabling advanced optical remote sensing for critical applications. In addition to this, Azista's advanced naval mode will significantly enhance Suhora's maritime solutions. This collaboration will further strengthen India's commercial satellite data ecosystem in the nation's fast-growing space sector and contribute significantly to the broader Indian space ecosystem, which is expected to see major growth driven by downstream applications.

As SPADE completes one year, the platform offers a comprehensive portfolio of multi-sensor data sources complemented by specialized analytical services. With a growing integration of satellite constellations, the platform covers upto 10 million sq km, integrating multi-sensor data from over 250 global and Indian operational satellites in orbit. In the past year since its launch, SPADE has tasked over 1.33 million sq km of surface area, reflecting its growing adoption and operational scale.

The cloud-based SaaS platform now offers an advanced tasking window visualization feature, allowing users to easily see which satellite passes are available for their area of interest within a selected time frame, bulk tasking modules for large batch orders and access to free data from ISRO and Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 via an uplifted UI/UX. The platform now also provides a suite of value-added services, including digital terrain and surface modeling (DTM/DSM), interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) analysis and normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) calculations, helping users derive actionable insights across diverse applications such as agriculture, defense, disaster management and environmental monitoring.

Krishanu Acharya, CEO & Co-Founder, Suhora Technologies said, “Our partnership with Azista reinforces our commitment to advancing domestic satellite capabilities and empowering users with enhanced geospatial intelligence, bringing advanced multispectral satellite data onto the SPADE platform. Over the past year, SPADE has matured into a truly sensor-agnostic platform, integrating optical, SAR, thermal, and hyperspectral satellite data with multiple resolutions to meet diverse user needs for both tasking and archive access. We continue to onboard additional sensors based on evolving user priorities, ensuring flexibility and comprehensive coverage to support the dynamic requirements of India's space sector.”

Sunil Indurti, Director, Azista Industries said, “The integration of ABA First Runner (AFR) onto the Suhora's platform is a significant step in making high-quality, multispectral satellite data accessible to a wider range of users. This collaboration not only demonstrates the growing capabilities of India's private space sector but also supports the nation's vision for self-reliance in satellite technology. AFR is designed to deliver actionable insights for various sectors, and we are proud to contribute to India's expanding space ecosystem by enabling advanced geospatial applications for both civilian and strategic sectors."
